Sakeena Women's Project
A lot of women are suffering in silence who affected by drug
misusing partners, family members or friends. This is especially
the case amongst the minority ethnic communities. Right Start
Foundation International, a charity based in Birmingham, has
launched an initiative called Sakeena Womens Project. It offers
women from the minority ethnic communities free drug awareness
workshops, counselling, support and advice in a culturally
sensitive manner. If anyone is interested or knows of sisters
or aunties who are suffering please get in touch with Right
Start and ask for Neelam.
